We appreciate financial contributions of any amount to help care for the cats and kittens in our program and to fund our programs in the community. We also accept donations of pet food and litter to our food assistance program. Consider sponsoring our Kind News program for a local class room.
SFHA has many volunteer opportunities including caring for adoptable cats and kittens during their stay at any of our three Petco locations, staffing adoption stands, fundraising, and clerical tasks. See below for Volunteer Application (PDF) link.
SFHA does not have a shelter – instead we rely entirely upon foster homes to house our adoptable cats and kittens. Fostering is a highly rewarding and enriching experience and saves the lives of cats and kittens that might have otherwise been euthanized. SFHA provides all medical care and supplies – fosters provide the home, the love, and transportation to and from adoption stands and veterinary appointments. See below for Foster Application (PDF) link.
