SERVICES

In addition to our adoption efforts, St. Francis Humane Association currently offers the following services...

Food Assistance

Through Petco’s We Are Family Too program, SFHA distributes pet food and litter donated at area Petco stores to local food banks and to private citizens experiencing financial hardship.

Spay/Neuter Assistance

Every year, millions of pets are euthanized or suffer as strays as a result of unplanned litters that could have been prevented. SFHA educates the public on low-cost alternatives to traditional surgery and, in some cases, provides financial assistance to citizens who might not otherwise be able to afford this life saving service.

Medical Assistance

During financially stressful times, pet owners can find themselves unable to afford to care for a sick or injured pet. In some cases, SFHA has been able to partner with private citizens to assist with medical bills, allowing pets to stay in their homes while receiving the medical care they desperately need.

Humane Education

Through programs such as Kind News, an educational magazine distributed to school age children, SFHA continually seeks opportunities to inform and educate the public on animal welfare issues.
